Regarding the depressing feelings that are coming up. What I found really helpful is to stop looking for happiness in the outside world. But I personally have realized that happiness that comes from the outside for example by buying a fancy car is passing and not that fulfilling.

By learning to be happier with less and by seeking happiness within, you become less dependent on the happenings of the outside world.

Perhaps it might be a good idea to really look into yourself and to figure out where these negative feelings arise from and to make necessary changes in your life.
