Where is winterspring in world of warcraft

The music is beautiful, and the quests give good money and exp. Comment by there is an mode any mode that you can reach hyjal? Comment by Where can i get in winterspring? I am a bloodelf. Comment by horde's need to get trough the mountains in the west? Comment by i'm a 56 rogue and want to stay in winterspring until 60 but i've done all the quests and im not much for grinding.. I've also her rumors about Gilneas might open up in that expansion or something.

Comment by mixter If you look at the portal to hyjal you can see it's showing hyjal forest on the other side. I stopped midway inside of one of these passages and although the minimap showed I was indoor and in the center I was not dismounted. I was mounted on the epic DK mount, Acherus Deathcharger. Comment by Isn't this the area where there was that big funeral raid a couple of years ago? Comment by Flight Point Location - Comment by Iggey This zone easily got me from 54 to Simple quests make for a casual experience, and the calm atmosphere enhances it even further.

The grave is facing out to the sea with a gun and jug of beer beside it. The road to it starts at Comment by wat lvl things there? Comment by Thottbot just keep following the road from fellwood, youll reach a camp Comment by Thottbot i continued to explore the are and its beomces mt Hyjal!

Comment by Thottbot 60,36 on the northern outskirts of Everlook. Comment by Thottbot wtf i cant get a point that goes there ive been there and i got the point there but no other point goes there im a ne druid help me pls. Comment by Thottbot Well, in my haste to see if I could get to Winterspring I killed my way through once.

Bad decision, but since I don't tailor I don't have any great need to up my rep with them. As wimpy as it sounds, I found that running in as far as you can to suicide will get you far enough along that one or two corpse runs from Ironwood will actually put you out the other side. Got to Moonglade this way out of sheer curiosity. Took about 10 minutes for the Moonglade run all told. Once you have the Everlook and Moonglade flightpaths you no longer need the tunnel.

Not a proud way to do it, but it does work. Moonglade 2. Winterspring 3. Dont kill anything inside there. Just dont. A lot of ppl talk about taking north from Ashenvale to get to Feelwood. Beeing a Druide and having Teleport To Moonglade spell this is an nice option. DONT kill anything in the tunnel, even if they atack you. Just be a covard run, die and run again or what ever.

Or go to the Feelwood side entering from Ashenvale and do the stinking quest to get not at-war with the faction. I am at war after trying to do the faction-quest times. Hate it! But i must admit i felt the Timermaw was less 'at-war' with me when i stealthed through the cave the last time maybe just a feeling. Anyway: Still at-war with them i now can stealth through the cave. I made 3 x rofl to myself when i read the above commentar that one guy finaly got the at-war tag away, but at that time he was so angry with the timbermaw that he just told himself he would probably kill any timbermaw he saw from now on, lol!

But druids will have to use their bear form to survive som times. Comment by Thottbot All you have to do is get Unfriendly and then you can wakl through the cave no problem, i did the quest once and then kill about 15 more deadwood guys and got to Unfreindly.

Comment by Thottbot To get to Winterspring: run inside the passage and do not make any turns or drop down to another level. Run straight and you will come out in Winterspring shortly. To get the Moonglade: run inside the passage and drop down a level or turn left or right. Comment by Thottbot I was running around trying to get every flight path I could as a 46 human pally, so naturally I wanted to get into Winterspring to get the Everlook flight path. It's actually pretty easy to go through Felwood if you're a pally.

Coming from Darkshore, go south to Ashenvale, then east until you get to about the center of the map, then head north until you hit Felwood. Once you're in Felwood, just follow the road all the way north and east until you reach the end of the map. Be sure to get the flight path just south of Timermaw Hold so you don't have to do all the running again. You need to run through the cave to get to Winterspring, but it's populated by some level 52 - 55 mobs. First things first, Throw up Devotion Aura to reduce you're damage taken, and you might as well equip a shield if you have one, because you won't be doing any attacking, just running and trying not to die.

Blessing of Freedom will be your friend inside, it makes you immune to movement impairing effects for 10 seconds, but has a 20 second cooldown. Basically run in, and when you see the first mob, cast blessing of freedom on yourself and keep running. They will daze you with their hits if you don't have it on, which is why its really important. Just keep running and casting Blessing of Freedom on yourself whenever you can. When your life gets low, shield yourself, and heal twice, which should put you back up to full health.

Then continue running. They have poison just like scorpions but it does more damage and it can stack. Comment by Winterspring is the home of the Winterspring Frostsaber. It is a truly unique mount, for it is quite hard to get. You have to do a lot of repeatable quests to gain reputation. I have only seen 1 person that actually has it on my server; mere rumors of other people having it.

Aside from having the mount, Winterspring is a very good place to level. I leveled here from , and I got it very fast too. The mobs are close together so there is little to no down time.

Comment by Kaoswarr A nice place to grind off the dreaded The yeti's here seem to prove a great resource of gold for skinners. I grinded here for 3 hours once on my level 60 hunter Skinner and made around g from it. Also the elites Darkwhisper Gorge are fun to kite around If you can. Comment by To get to Winterspring, you have to make a run through Timbermaw Hold northern Felwood, or Southern Moonglade if you're a druid. You can gain rep with them in Felwood to get their rep high enough that they won't attack you by killing mobs and repeatable turnins, or you can just corpse run through the hold once you're through, you can get a FP at Everlook.

Comment by OMG just run thru it, it was a lot shorter than I thought it was and I'm so glad I didnt waste time questing just to get thru. Of course, I was kinda lucky because a Blood Elf ran thru just ahead of me so all of the mobs chased him and left me free to go lol. But I was planning on corpse running it anyway, like I said I just got lucky. But hey, everyone can do it how they want.

Good Luck in whatever you decide to do. Now I'm going to go tame the all white cat for my new pet. Oh i just love having a pet that not everyone has! Hugz 2 all!!! Comment by arco This is way out of date, but has anybody noticed there's a raid portal at the very south of Darkwhisper Gorge? It's behind a sinister looking gate. Has anyone ever found any hints as to what this might be? Since it's Winterspring it may be a frost elemental area similar to Molten Core, or it could lead into Hyjal.

Not quite sure. Any information? Comment by I got a lvl 53 hunter. Comment by About an hour ago i was Wondering around Darkwhisper Gorge and got to the the deepest part. I went into cave Which on the maps looks like it leads into Hyjal and saw an instance portal with a gate.

Is it a new zone? Comment by Yes that is the entrance to the Hyjal area, but it is blocked off. The actual entrance to the Hyjal raid is in the Caverns of Time, located in Tanaris. Comment by Lucid Just a note to hunters, as this is a great zone for them, there are no arrow vendors in Winterspring that are friendly to horde. The only person who sells arrows is within the alliance town. So bring some beforehand to fly up to moonglade to purchase more.

Now I want to go back to Colorado That is indeed Hyjal itself, but as of right now, the real, current zone where Archimonde is dead is closed off and under development. At the very least, expect it to be opened with the Wrath of the Lich King. But you never know. Comment by Tyrsenus fishing skill is required to cast here. Comment by Pyrastoria I found it pretty easy going through the hold all you have to do is get a little bit ahead of them so they dont hit you because they are slow they cant keep up.

Comment by Its just a simple quest from the guy out side of timbermaw you kill 6 or 8 of each kind of mob right below where you stand lvl and your unfriendly can go right in no one will atack you. Comment by anyone no where the mount trainer is or the quest giver for the quests? Comment by You can get to Winterspring by following the trail Southwest through Moonglade. You end up going through a tunnelit leads to Felpaw Village. There comes a small room with two specific furblog; different ones appear at different times.

In the room, you can go right or left. Right leads to Winterspring; Left leads to Felwood. Pretty simple; considering that now there's a flightpath to Moonglade. Comment by After casts I was trophy fishing I did not catch a single Lightning Eel, which leads me to believe that they were removed from Winterspring with patch 2.

Comment by Winterspring is a very cool area All mobs immuted our spells ;[ ;[ Try leveling in Western Plaguelands Comment by have they changed timbermaw hold im patch 2. Comment by Azvolrien I think my one major criticism of this zone is that it doesn't have enough quests, at least not for Horde.

Thousands of years ago, this valley upon the slopes of Mount Hyjal served as a place for the night elves to start anew in the wake of the Sundering. The blue dragonflight keeps its vigil here, whereas most of the other dragonflights have moved to the base of the World Tree or other locations.

The recent success of Everlook has brought more adventurers into Winterspring, which the natives hope will aid them in defeating the threat of the demons of Darkwhisper Gorge.

This otherwise cold and serene place shakes with periodic conflict between the forces of the sorcerer-dragon Cobaltann and the night elves who strive to drive them from the slopes of Mount Hyjal. The goblins of Everlook recently discovered a new mine to the south of their city, not far from the dragon caves of Mazthoril. This mine is valuable due to a large amount of arcanite within it, but thus far it proves inaccessible.

While not part of the blue dragon's cave complex, the dragons are territorial, and so the goblins are looking for a hero that can find a way to convince the blue dragonflight to allow them access to the mine, in exchange of a nice reward of course. Winterspring lies to the east of Felwood and Moonglade , and to the northeast of Hyjal Summit. The easiest access to any of these locations on foot is through the caves of the Timbermaw furbolgs , although Everlook offers flying mounts that travel to Felwood or Moonglade — for a price.

Winterspring Valley is above Moonglade and is the last stop along the road that winds up to Hyjal Peak. The valley is separated from Moonglade, lower on the mountain slope, by a thick, white cloud bank. Once above the clouds, the air is crisp and clean and the sun shines often when the snow is not falling. The trees of Winterspring were bent and twisted into odd positions during the climactic Battle of Mount Hyjal.

Many of the World Tree's massive roots are also exposed here, towering overhead like massive oak archways. Only three major humanoid settlements exist in this region: the night elven village of Starfall , and more interestingly, the goblin town of Everlook.

The third is Mazthoril , home of Kalimdor 's blue dragonflight. Everlook is located on the far east side of Winterspring, near the center, and Starfall Village is slightly to the northwest. Several creatures live in the icy terrain, such as chimeras , polar bears , and the rare and legendary frostsaber cats.
