This story is from August 17, The order issued by additional chief secretary Sitaram Kunte has directed him to take charge as Pune collector immediately while another IAS officer Kunal Khemnar will replace him at Haffkine. Deshmukh's order has been issued after Ram was transferred to PMO as deputy secretary.
